Hello and welcome to my portfolio. My name is Ryan Walsh and I am a creative director with a proven ability to develop strong visual solutions while working with team leaders, project managers, engineering and design teams to maintain proficiency in production and exceed expectations. I have worked in the design industry for the past 20 years and I have spent the past 6+ years working in the tech industry for Docusign and Workday.

Originally from Arlington Virginia, I spent the first part of my career working in and around Washington DC as a print and web designer. My time in the nation’s capital exposed me to work in the public and private sector, but I was still looking for further experience with tech and consumer brands. In 2010 I moved to San Francisco with an opportunity to push that desire into reality. I continued to work in agency world throughout the Bay Area while building out my portfolio with clients such as Apple, VMware, and Adobe. In 2014 I took the plunge into focusing on a single brand with my tenure at Docusign. Preparing Docusign for going public while showcasing its unique product offering were my primary objectives. Accomplishing this with a new website experience and supportive marketing programs helped to elevate Docusign as the standard in electronic signature solutions.

Moving on from Docusign to Workday helped to further my experience with working and managing in-house creative services. Our team successfully managed all digital experiences that included the corporate .com website, corporate blog, event marketing microsites and supportive demand generation programs. We led Workday’s website redesign that included rebranding and integrating contemporary UX methodologies that scaled within a new CMS architecture.

In August 2019, my family and I moved to Cincinnati, putting us closer to friends and family. My creative passion to help brands tell their stories continues to drive my work. I still freelance with associates since my move and I’m currently looking forward to new opportunities!
